It seems like so long ago since I was taking my daily dose of Fertibella. Now I’m on my very last few weeks of being pregnant. I can’t believe it!!! I thought I would never get here… especially after what an emotional rollercoaster ride the first little while was. I was so anxious and depressed, it was like a was a whole other person. It sounds weird but it’s almost comfortable being pregnant and knowing this little life is growing inside of me. Sure, my feet my be swollen, I’m always sweating and I can’t sleep on my side anymore, but I wouldn’t change it for the world. I’m so lucky to have this experience. My heart goes out to the ladies who are hurting and struggling to conceive. There is so much misinformation and conflicting stories about fertility aids that it’s hard to know what is what. For anyone who is looking for the supplement that helped me, you can find it at www.Fertibella.com.

I haven’t been here in a while… all caught up in baby hysteria!

Baby bump is getting big! The doc says I’m actually a little ahead… the baby is growing like a weed! I know it sounds weird, but I am going to miss this growing, thriving tummy of mine! It’s easy to know that my baby is just resting and developing comfortably in my womb. Soon the baby will be out in this world of annoying stimuli! I wonder if Fertibella balanced my hormones in such a way that the baby is growing and developing better than usual? I’m not sure, but I’m glad that is the case! I was so imbalanced and irregular before.

OMG. I think the romantic cruise to Bermuda last month really paid off because I just got the official word from my doctor:

    I AM PREGNANT!!!
I took the Fertibella test and was pretty sure I saw that one crisp, clear line, but you never really know. This picture was taken 5 min after the fact, so you can see a faint watermark, but it looked like an encouraging sign to me. I’m not one to trust the word of any home pregnancy test. I needed to know for sure. Now that my doc has confirmed, I am comfortable telling all of you!
I have seen a lot of negative pr about Fertibella online lately, and I had always taken it with a grain of salt… but now I am totally convinced that Fertibella is a little miracle in a bottle! My husband and I are soooooo ecstatic that this worked!
When you think about the thousands of dollars doctors charge for fertility treatments (or even assessments!), the $160 I paid was really nothing at all. When I called to tell the company about my pregnancy (and ask about returning my two unused bottles), they were super nice and congratulatory. Returning was easy and my refund was credited almost immediately! :)

I hope you won’t hesitate to try natural fertility supplements before some of the more invasive measures. Good luck & baby dust to all you other ladies TTC! All I can say is to: surround yourself with positive people, find others in the same boat as you, and be willing to try something new. You just might get lucky!

So it is now month 3. I thought I would try to help my BFP along by taking a wonderful 7-day cruise vacation on the Norwegian Gem to Bermuda! Let me tell you, those Fertibella pills taste a LOT better with inclusive cruise ship dining! LoL!
If this doesn’t scream “ROMANCE!!!!” I don’t know what does…

Bermuda was a dream. We took historical tours, rode mopeds, went horseback riding, snorkeled, and just laid on the beach for hours with books in hand. I’ve never been someplace sooooo relaaaaxing.
My husband and I work ourselves like dogs anyway, so I reeeeally needed this. Who knows, perhaps the stress is even affecting my cycles and ability to conceive? Anyway, I was thinking about how my mother once told me she knew immediately when she had conceived me. She said it was just an amazing baby dance and she had the feeling in her heart that it had happened. While we were on vacation, I had a strange feeling like that. I brought a couple tests and I was, in fact, ovulating.
I read you have to wait anywhere from 3-7 days for an accurate reading, so I’ve held off with the big test.
I can barely stand the wait!!!!
Here’s wishing for the BFP any day now…

Hi there! Sadly, I had a false sense of excitement with my ovulation and cycle going so well.
    No BFP yet!

    *sigh*
I keep telling myself that it’s important to be patient.
I’m not terribly religious, but I do truly believe God has His reasons for making us wait. Maybe I will appreciate having a baby even more if I had to “work” for it. Maybe earlier babies would’ve had problems – physically or emotionally – if I had pushed the issue. That’s another reason why I would rather conceive naturally using Fertibella instead of having some kind of egg-sperm union in a laboratory. Don’t get me wrong… I want a baby really, really badly… but I feel there is a certain line that should not be crossed. If it’s meant to be, it will happen at just the right moment. If it’s not meant to be, then why ask a scientist to play God? Perhaps my calling is to adopt, in that case.
Anyway, I am feeling great. My cycles are right on track and I am hoping to go through my next ovulation phase and start doing the baby dance again real soon. It’s hard to stay positive sometimes, but I have signed up to all the forums, where I am just loving people’s stories of inspiration! I am a little jealous, I’ll admit, but it’s also inspiring to hear people say “Hooray – Got my BFP!” I hope that will be me soon… and that I can be the one to give hope to at least one other person who is TTC.

Hi there. I haven’t been the greatest at updating this thing… I guess life just got the best of me these last 2 harried weeks! Anyway, as you may recall…. I started Fertibella at the beginning of the month… got my period fairly quickly and it was the most regular it’s been since I can remember. No one is ever “happy” to get their period, but I consider it a small victory anyway.
I have had a few busy weeks — going to baby birthday parties, seeing babies at the mall, hearing about babies at work (AHH! Baby fever! Doesn’t it seem like the whole world is having babies without you when you want one so badly???)….
And now here I am, looking down at this dang ovulation test….

I am not the world’s best photographer, but…
Does this mean I am ovulating???
I think if you get two lines that is good news… no?
I am on CD12, so is it time to start doing the BD with the hubby?
Hopefully this time next week I will have wonderful news for you all. :)
  • Week 2

I know I just posted my “Week 1″ blog, but I just started this whole What To Expect blogging thing today and I amactually on my second week of taking Fertibella, so here goes…

A couple days in, wouldn’t you know I get my period!?!!

    Bummer.

I would have rather gotten a miracle.

But I guess I’ll take it as small progress.

I know it’s sort of TMI, but my periods have always been irregular – heavy one month, faint the next, sometimes I don’t get one at all. I’m not sure if that’s a cause of infertility somehow, but I would assume that a regular 5-7 day heavy-to-light flow period each month would be ideal.

At any rate, I’m one of those people who likes to be totally in-the-know, so I emailed and called the Fertibella hotline. A woman named Meredith answered my email and had this to say:

    Dear Mary,

Thank you for contacting LeRoche Benicoeur Consumer Healthcare. You may begin taking FertiBella anytime in your cycle, and FertiBella is best taken with food. Take one tablet daily with meals. Begin with the blue Month 1 bottle, and once completed, begin taking the pink Month 2 bottle. FertiBella may be taken alongside prenatal supplements while trying to conceive.

If you find out that you are pregnant, then you can discontinue use of FertiBella Advanced Conception and switch to taking prenatal vitamins to give your body all the vitamins and minerals it needs while pregnant.

If I can be of further service, please feel free to contact me. If you have any questions you may also contact customer service at 1-888-363-9222 or log on to www.fertibella.com.

    Sincerely,

This was helpful, but I was still wondering if I had started taking Fertibella at the wrong time during my cycle. I called them and found the woman on the phone to be super polite. She said Fertibella works on 7 different reasons for infertility, one of them being irregular menstruation… so it could very well be that my cycle was just regulated as a result of taking the fertility aid. You can really start taking at any time during your cycle, though, she said… it’s not like birth control where you have a set start date for it to work. Phew!

    To be continued…!

    Here it is!!!

Holy crap… I can’t believe how fast this arrived… Just a few days after ordering!

I decided to try Fertibella upon the recommendation of friends and family. My husband and I thought we could just do it au naturale, but after over 6 months of trying on our own, we are sick and tired of waiting! My clock is ticking and I am tired of crying every time I see a darn baby! I was also drawn to Fertibella because I read there are no side effects and it’s a more natural way to conceive without resorting to chemical drugs or growth hormones.

Wish me luck & baby dust!
